The Mid-North Coast community is celebrating a $1 million injection in new arts and culture funding for the Manning Entertainment Centre (MEC), thanks to the NSW Nationals in the federal government.
Thirteen Clarence Valley community preschools have secured a combined $169,233 in grants just in time for Christmas, NSW Nationals Member for Clarence Chris Gulaptis says.
“The My Community Project program allowed the electorate to vote for where they wanted this funding to be spent, and the result is a dynamic community space that is purpose built for, and by, the people of Junee.”
A not-for-profit organisation working with vulnerable members of the community will launch its own food van thanks to a grant from the NSW Nationals in the state government.

NSW Nationals Member for Myall Lakes Stephen Bromhead said these works were being funded thanks to an $836,734 grant from the Stronger Country Communities Fund.
A $20,000 grant was awarded for the work from the Community Building Partnership program earlier this year to undergo repairs and create more space for community activities.
The $3.6 million project improves access to the foreshore, provides new amenities and recreational opportunities, including better fishing facilities, new pathways and picnic areas, and a new designated event space.
The NSW Nationals in the state government are investing in projects that deliver positive social, environmental and recreational outcomes.
