Twenty-three community projects in the Clarence and Richmond Valleys have been successful in securing funding under the latest round of the popular NSW Nationals in the state government’s Community Building Partnership program.
“There is a total of $300,000 split between local not-for-profit groups focussed on areas as diverse as Indigenous Australians, seniors, sports, people with disabilities, recreation to name a few,” NSW Nationals Member for Clarence Chris Gulaptis has announced.
“This is a really effective use of taxpayer money because most community groups value-add with in-kind labour and skills.”
Mr Gulaptis said the NSW Nationals in the state government were investing in infrastructure projects that deliver positive social, environmental and recreational outcomes while promoting community participation, inclusion and cohesion.
