There are hundreds of thousands of small businesses in our state, and more than a third of them are in the regions. These small businesses are a major part of their regional communities – supplying services, products, and supporting community groups through local sponsorships. The NSW Nationals are dedicated supporters and promoters of regional small businesses.
We work to make things fairer for regional small businesses so they can flourish and grow, providing more work and opportunity for their local communities.
Buying local is one of our essential policies that we believe needs to be strengthened so regional businesses can freely take part in valuable contracts for goods and services provision, construction and reach other markets.
We also want to promote our businesses to the world – that’s why we focus on marketing opportunities and inward investment so small businesses, tourism providers, manufacturers and producers have the opportunity to scale up and tap into lucrative overseas markets.
