Natural Disaster declarations have been made in the Bland, Hilltops, Narrandera, and Temora local government areas.
Nationals Minister for Emergency Services and Resilience and Member for Cootamundra Steph Cooke said the declarations follow severe storms and intense rainfall which impacted these communities on January 5 and 6, and again on January 14-16.
“The declaration of a natural disaster means that assistance will now be provided to people who suffered damage to their homes, and to primary producers and small businesses,” Ms Cooke said.
“I urge everyone who is eligible to make the most of this support.”
