NSW Nationals Member for Upper Hunter Michael Johnsen has called on people to submit nominations for the NSW Government Community Service Award and NSW State Representative Award, to recognise the outstanding contributions and achievements of members of their community.
The NSW Government Community Service Award recognises individuals in NSW who have substantially helped to improve the quality of life of members of their community. This is beyond what would reasonably be expected in their usual occupation.
The NSW State Government Representative Award recognises people who have represented NSW in a competitive field. Nominees of any age, who have represented NSW in a competitive field (eg. sport, music, the arts or academic), either nationally or internationally, may be eligible.
Anyone wanting to nominate a suitable candidate should contact their local NSW Nationals state electorate office so that the necessary nomination application can be completed and submitted to the NSW Department of Premier & Cabinet.
