The NSW Nationals in the state government have extended the deadline for people to use their Dine & Discover vouchers by one month until July 31 to ensure small hospitality businesses like those in the Clarence and Richmond valleys do not miss out.
Under the scheme, each NSW adult is entitled to four $25 vouchers, two dining ones to spend at participating eating venues and two discover vouchers to be spent at participating attractions like sports clubs, museums, concerts and movie theatres.
Clarence Nationals MP Chris Gulaptis said the scheme has been particularly successful because it has given an incentive for our many seniors to get out and visit COVID-safe venues, and the extension will do the same for families as the school holidays begin.
“The message the government has now received and acted upon from Clarence and Richmond Valley businesses is that more time is needed so that nobody who wants to benefit from the scheme misses out,” Mr Gulaptis said.
The latest data shows more than 4.23 million people have downloaded the vouchers since the NSW Nationals in government launched the initiative just three months ago and more than $100 million has been spent with registered businesses in regional NSW alone.
