The iVote voting system allows eligible voters to cast their vote online or over the telephone.

This is a great way to ensure your vote counts even if you aren’t going to be in Monaro on voting day,

Remember, you only have to Vote 1.

Step 1

Submit an application to use iVote here

Please check the eligibility criteria to see if you are qualified to use iVote. You will need to make a declaration that you are eligible during your iVote application.

You can apply for iVote:

• online
• by calling 1300 248 683 within Australia, or (+61 2) 9290 5287 from overseas.

You will be prompted to create a secure password when you apply. You will then be sent your iVote number via your chosen method (SMS or email) within a few minutes.  If iVote is experiencing high volumes, you may experience a delay in receiving your iVote number.

You will need your password and iVote number to cast your vote.

 

Step 2

Cast your Vote

You will need your iVote number and password to cast your vote. Once voting is complete, you will be provided a receipt code. Online voters will also be provided with a QR code to verify their vote.

 

Step 3

Verify your vote

You can verify your vote by downloading the iVote Verification app on a second device. Scan the QR code to verify your vote preferences

 

Step 4

Check your vote was received

You can check your vote was received by entering your receipt code into the online ‘Check your receipt’ option.
