Federal Nationals Member for Page Kevin Hogan has announced $7,200 for the Woolgoolga Diggers Golf Club to purchase and install new sprinkler heads.
Mr Hogan said the Woolgoolga Diggers is an important club in the Woopi community.
“Many people have taken up the sport over the past 18 months, and former players have also returned,” he said.
“With this increase in players, it is important the golf club has the right resources to maintain the greens.”
Mr Hogan said the club needed to purchase new sprinkler heads as the current ones are old and damaged.
The funding has been provided through the Round 6 of the NSW Nationals in the federal government’s Stronger Communities Programme.
