Under sunny Gunnedah skies, the 50th anniversary of Australia’s largest premier primary industry field days – Agquip – is underway.
More than 100,000 people are expected to attend the event, which is open today, tomorrow, and Thursday.
You’ll find The Nationals there at stand J24.
More importantly, you’ll also find The Nats’ world-famous steak sandwiches there, cooked and served by some of our state and federal MPs every day from midday.
Kevin Anderson, the state Member for Tamworth, and Mark Coulton, the federal Member for Parkes, are on BBQ duty today.
Barnaby Joyce, the federal Member for New England, will be there tomorrow (Wednesday), and Mark Coulton and members of our Gunnedah branch will be looking after you on Thursday.
The steaks have been kindly donated by Teys Tamworth, and not only are we delivering a great feed, we’re also helping a great cause in the shape of Gunnedah Family Support, which looks after those in the community who most need our help.
Last year The Nationals’ Agquip BBQ raised more than $1,300 for Gunnedah Family Support, and we’re hoping to break that record this year.
Come along, say hello, and buy a steak sanger!
