Every great community project starts as a grassroots movement, which is why Nationals Member for Tamworth Kevin Anderson has launched a community survey asking residents to have their say on the future of our region.
A postage paid survey will be hitting letterboxes across the Tamworth electorate from today, and residents are asked to fill out the form and post it back to Mr Anderson, free of charge.
“The people who know our communities best are those who live here, live and breathe our region, and are passionate about our future,” Mr Anderson said.
“Too often, decisions about our future are made from ivory towers in Sydney by people who have no interest and no investment in our region.
“That leads to bad decisions and unworkable solutions that inevitably leave us worse off and our communities poorer.
“That’s why I’m asking our community to have their say, respond to my survey, and help shape the future of our region.
“Whether it’s health, roads, housing, education, community safety or local services, this is an opportunity for every voice to be heard and help shape the priorities I’ll continue to fight for.
“To continue to do my job in parliament, I need the strong voice of our community behind me, so I’m encouraging every resident to help me by letting me know what their priorities and ideas are.”
