Hi, I’m Sue Gilroy.
As someone who has called the Hunter home since my teenage years, this region is much more than just where I live—it’s where my heart is.
My deep connections to the Hunter have shaped who I am and fuelled my dedication to its people. I’m an experienced leader with a background in health, business development, and the resources industry.
Serving as President of the Singleton Business Chamber for six years, I’ve had the privilege of working closely with the local business community across Singleton and the Hunter Valley.
My career journey has equipped me with the skills to drive meaningful change and make a real difference. I have a unique understanding of the challenges our community faces, and this has inspired my commitment to improving lives and building a better future for the Hunter.
My goal is to leave a positive legacy—a community where future generations will want to live, and work. I will advocate for local families, fight to address the rising cost of living and make sure our regional industries are safe. I’m here to serve you.
