NSW Nationals Member for Dubbo Dugald Saunders is encouraging people to sign up for Dine & Discover vouchers after several regions became eligible this week.
Every NSW resident aged 18 and over will be eligible for four $25 vouchers – worth $100 in total – to spend in participating businesses.
Dine & Discover NSW vouchers will be divided into two categories:
- Two $25 vouchers to be used for eating in at restaurants, cafes, bars, pubs and clubs, available 7 days a week, excluding public holidays.
- Two $25 vouchers to be used for entertainment and recreation, including cultural institutions, live music, and arts venues, available 7 days a week, excluding public holidays.
“We know that dining, hospitality and tourism businesses were among those hardest hit as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic, and these vouchers not only provide $100 worth of relief for residents but it also provides a stimulus for businesses that are still bouncing back,” Mr Saunders said.
“This program is being facilitated through Service NSW, and the easiest way to access the vouchers is through the Service NSW app, but for those without a smartphone or who prefer the hard copy, there is also the opportunity to visit a Service NSW centre and apply that way.
“This program was trialled in places like Broken Hill and the Bega Valley, and the feedback has been overwhelmingly positive, and I’m delighted that residents of our region are now able to be involved.”
Businesses can register to participate in the program at any time through the Service NSW website, and vouchers are valid until 30 June 2021.
The vouchers can only be used at eligible businesses that have implemented a COVID Safety Plan and are registered as COVID Safe.
