The NSW Nationals have today highlighted the extraordinary failures of the Minns Labor Government over the last month.
In the coming fortnight in Parliament, we will be prosecuting these issues:
• Hospital patients exposed to fatal mould clusters and other serious maintenance and hygiene failures.
• Government inaction after foster children were placed in the same residence as a convicted serial killer.
• Mental health patients escaping care and allegedly murdering innocent members of the community.
• Foster carer previously barred from working with children after allegedly buying sex toys for a young girl later cleared to work with children.
• Lack of preparedness for the statewide fuel shortage.
• Major regional roads closed indefinitely.
• Feral pigs taking over regional NSW.
• NSW receiving its lowest GST relativity share since the GST was introduced.
• Energy bills rising 20 per cent despite wholesale prices dropping by 50 per cent.
• Asbestos being stockpiled near homes and children’s play areas.
• NSW falling further behind on housing targets.
• Illegal tobacconists repeatedly reopening despite being issued closure orders.
• Minister for Racing enjoying a taxpayer funded three-night, five-star junket in Western Australia to attend a one-hour meeting.
• A $150,000 government grant awarded to an individual who personally donated to Labor’s election campaign.
No wonder Chris Minns is heading for the exit.
