Federal Nationals Member for Page Kevin Hogan has announced a $1.1 million election commitment to complete the auditorium fit-out of the new Maclean Community Precinct.
This follows the $5 million previously secured by the former Coalition Federal and State Governments to construct the new Civic Hall itself.
Mr Hogan said this will be a fantastic facility for the whole community.
“The fit out will include tiered seating, theatre curtaining, lighting and sound equipment – everything needed to bring the space to life.
“We fought hard to get the $5 million to build this new facility, and now we’re committing the funding needed to fit it out properly, so it can be used to its full potential.
“The auditorium will serve as a hub for theatre productions, concerts, community events and school performances, creating a great asset for the entire region.”
