Tamworth, Gunnedah, and Manilla are hosting a 48 hour “vaxathon” this weekend.
The local primary health community is joining forces to give our vaccination rate a boost by delivering more than 3,000 doses.
13 health providers in the region will offer the AstraZeneca vaccine on Saturday and Sunday (August 28 and 29)
Nationals MP for Tamworth Kevin Anderson said this is a great opportunity to get thousands of jabs in arms.
“If you haven’t had the opportunity to get the jab, now is your chance. Let’s roll up our sleeves and get it done.
“A massive thank you to all of our participating GP surgeries who are putting in those extra hours to ensure we can protect our loved ones.”
