Locals in Tumut and nearby areas have welcomed the opening of the 98th Service NSW Centre, delivered thanks to the Nationals in Government.
NSW Nationals MLC Wes Fang said: “The Tumut Service Centre gives residents and businesses access to the same range of transactions available at Wagga Wagga and also Queanbeyan. Members of the community are encouraged to come for a visit, meet the Service NSW team, and learn about what this new centre has to offer.”
NSW Nationals candidate for Wagga Wagga Mackenna Powell said the new centre was about making it easier for locals to transact with the NSW Government now and into the future.
“Service NSW provides the services which matter to peoples’ lives, whether it’s their first vehicle registration or a Seniors Card,” Ms Powell said. “The list of services doesn’t stop there – people can also lodge a medical change of conditions for driver’s licences and apply for birth, death or marriage certificates.”
Service NSW is also a gateway to government savings and incentives to ease the cost of living, including CTP refunds, Active Kids and Creative Kids vouchers and Energy Switch.
Tumut Service Centre is located at 7 Fuller Street and is open between 9am and 4pm from Monday to Friday.
