Hi, I’m Kate Hazelton, your local Nats candidate.
As a veteran, former nurse, farmer and mother, I know what it’s like to fight for something you love – especially when the times get tough.
I’ve spent most of my life right here, in the Central West, working alongside you to help build the communities we love and are so proud of.
Like you, I know what a difference hard-working locals can make to regional communities like ours and that’s why I want to be your local MP.
I’m proud to be part of The Nationals team that will clear the school maintenance backlog, back our farmers in drought and deliver real reductions in the cost of living.
Over the years, I’ve worked in my fair share of industries.
I’ve spent time in a war zone, helped the elderly as a nurse, chipped in on the farm and worked alongside you in our community.
I know the value of a hard day’s work and telling it like it is. I’m committed to delivering better roads, more doctors and nurses, more teachers in our schools and more police for our towns.
The Nats have done the hard work of rebuilding our region and now, it’s your time to benefit from that.
Establish a strong, independent Agriculture Commissioner to protect our farmers.
Employ more than 3700 health staff, including doctors, nurses, palliative care nurses, and allied health professionals for our regional areas.
Put another 1500 police on the beat in our regional communities to keep us safe and tackle rural crime.
$1 billion to repair local roads and bridges in regional NSW.
