Clarence and Richmond Valley families will be an extra $100 per child better off if they enrol them in more eligible sports activities, according to Clarence Nationals MP Chris Gulaptis.
“The Nationals in Government introduced the $100 Active Kids vouchers last year and the feedback from parents has been so positive the Government is now offering two vouchers per child per year,” Mr Gulaptis said.
“Over one million vouchers have been claimed so far and I want to make sure no young family in the Clarence or Richmond Valley misses out on this new offer.”
Parents of school-enrolled children can now access a second $100 Active Kids voucher to use towards registration and membership fees for sport and active recreation each year.
A similar scheme, called Creative Kids provides $100 vouchers for children who enrol in creative activities like music lessons or programming.
