Junee and Coolamon Preschools are in line for major upgrades thanks to the NSW Nationals in Government.
NSW Nationals Member for Cootamundra Steph Cooke announced $639,000 for Coolamon and $291,600 for Junee, secured as part of the Start Strong Capital Works Grants Program.
Ms Cooke said these grants had come at an incredible time and would be appreciated by so many, especially as the drought continued to impact communities.
“I’m so proud to celebrate this massive win, which will provide an incredible new facility for the children of Coolamon and an extension for Junee RSL Memorial Preschool,” Ms Cooke said.
“These upgrades will bring more work to the area during a time when communities are feeling the effects of our current conditions.”
NSW families with young children will have improved access to early learning with $8.3 million in grants awarded through the Start Strong Capital Works Grants program.
