The NSW Nationals have welcomed the latest round of Building Better Regions funding, which will see $741,772 spent in our communities.
The $641.6 million Building Better Regions Fund (BBRF) supports the Liberal-Nationals Government’s commitment to create jobs, drive economic growth and build stronger regional communities into the future, funding projects outside the major capital cities. There are two streams of funding available under the program, the Infrastructure Projects Stream and the Community Investments Stream, which delivered the most recent announcement.
A project to boost business in Orange’s CBD will get $100,000, while $60,000 will be put towards developing a Macleay Valley economic strategy. But it’s not all business, with $37,500 towards the Grey Mardi Gras at Cobar and $19,500 for a youth photography project in the Riverina.
This funding helps our regions develop fantastic projects already organised by communities, further building up our regional towns and cities.
