The Hay Branch of the NSW Nationals is re-forming and we’re inviting the community to attend the Annual General Meeting on July 26.
The NSW Nationals are the only major political party to put rural communities first and it’s vital we have a say on the issues of the day. As a partner in both State and Federal Governments, the Nationals have a seat at the table and can advocate for our communities.
Member for Murray Austin Evans MP will be at the Annual General Meeting, which will be held at Hay Services Club on Thursday, July 26 from 6.30pm.
Longtime Nationals member Phyllis Jones said it was important to have a local branch to represent local issues.
“You need to have someone to talk to, to do things about any problems you might have,” Mrs Jones said. “The Nationals are always there to listen, they know who to talk to about our issues and Austin Evans is someone people really relate to, he’s just a good bloke.”
There will be dinner and drinks for members and non-members alike after the meeting and we hope to see you there.
