The Nationals in Government are encouraging seniors in our communities to grab their free 2019 Seniors’ Diary, which features information about seniors’ rights, consumer law, aged care, community phone numbers and a list of agencies and services for older people.
Legal Aid NSW produces the informative and easy-to-read diary each year to help demystify legal issues that are of special interest to older people.
Seniors in electorate can claim a free diary that alerts them of scams, elder abuse, funerals, pensions and more – but they’ll have to be quick, with demand high for the Legal Topics for Older People diary.
The diary also features a dedicated chapter on legal issues that are important for older Aboriginal people to know about, including planning for funerals and sorry business, and using a will as a way of passing on cultural knowledge.
To order your free copy of the 2019 Legal Topics for Older People Diary, visit www.legalaid.nsw.gov.au/publications/order-a-publication and search for ‘diary’, or contact your local electorate office.
