Your Nationals Candidate for Coffs Harbour
I’m a third-generation Coffs local, raising my two young children with my wife in this beautiful part of NSW.
As a businessman and farmer with experience in the tourism industry, I’m focused on protecting our local jobs and lowering taxes so our economy can boom.
Born-and-rasied here, I want to continue in Andrew Fraser’s footsteps by being a strong local member who isn’t afraid to fight for our community on the big issues that will see our region remain strong.
I’ve already been a vocal advocate for making sure the bypass has tunnels, not cuttings and that we continue to see our facilities meet our growing population’s needs.
What Gurmesh stands for
Working for the region
I’ve worked in various industries from marketing to design, as well as agriculture. I want to make sure that as our region grows, our smaller industries aren’t forgotten. I want to see less red-tape and taxes so small businesses can thrive.
This should be done whilst ensuring the Coffs Coast remains the premier region on the NSW North Coast.
A balanced approach
I want to make sure our retirees can enjoy their hard-earned rest, while also making sure there are opportunities for our young people to build a future here is a top priority.
Building the Coffs Bypass and more local infrastructure
There’s been a huge investment in our region thanks to the tireless work of Andrew Fraser MP, including the Coffs Harbour bypass, new justice precinct and Coffs Harbour Hospital. But there’s more to do I wont be backing down and am going to make sure we continue to get what we deserve.
A vision for the region
The people of the Coffs Coast deserve access to the services that people get in the city. I’m focused on fighting to make sure we get our fair share of jobs, road and school upgrades, facilities and reduce the ever-rising cost-of-living.
