Member for Clarence Chris Gulaptis has been formally re-endorsed as the NSW Nationals candidate for the 2019 State Election.

“It is an absolute honour and privilege to have been preselected on Sunday by the grassroots Nationals members of the Clarence Electorate Council to stand as the Nationals candidate for the seat of Clarence in the 2019 State Election,” Mr Gulaptis said. “I take my responsibility in serving the Nationals and the broader Clarence Electorate very seriously and pledge that my constituents will be the focus of my attention.”

Mr Gulaptis said he was proud of what the Nationals in Government had achieved during his first two terms as the Member for Clarence.

“Serving as a member of the Nationals in Government over the past two terms and being part of a Government that has delivered an unprecedented level of infrastructure investment into regional NSW, and into the Clarence in particular, has been an incredible journey,” Mr Gulaptis said. “I am thrilled to have played a part in delivering the infrastructure and services that my electorate has missed out on for some years, but I don’t take the next election for granted. I am committed to working every minute of every hour through to the next election to hold this seat for the Nationals, to secure the future of the people in my electorate and to ensure that the Nationals are in Government past 2019.”
