We've golden sun and wealth for toil
Advance Australia Fair refers to the abundance of resource we have in this vast country. But it’s not just ‘golden soil’ we’re capitalising on these days…
The renewable energy sector is steadily growing, and more than 210 viable locations across NSW have been recently highlighted on the Renewable Energy Map, which has been launched to identify new locations for potential energy harvesting.
The Renewable Energy Map provides renewable energy project developers with free access to geospatial data and information detailing the state’s renewable energy resources. The map will provide information not only to potential investors, planners and market researchers, but also academics and students studying the availability and potential use of renewable resources in New South Wales. The map includes locales for solar, wind, hydro, wave, bioenergy and geothermal activity across the State.
The map also highlights the current renewable projects and infrastructure in place across the State. It was launched last week at the 2016 Clean Energy Summit in Sydney.
