Up to $50,000 available for Oxley clubs with Local Sports Grants
Member for Oxley, Melinda Pavey MP, reminds local sporting organisations that applications are now open for the NSW Government’s Local Sports Grants Program.
“Sport is the lifeblood of communities across the length and breadth of the mid-north coast and these grants will encourage people of all ages and abilities to get involved.
“The funding aims to increase regular and on-going participation and active recreation by encouraging more people to get moving and become active in their local areas,” Mrs Pavey said.
The new Local Sport Grant Program will see up to $50,000 in grants distributed to local Oxley sporting clubs and groups. There are four project types within the Program:
- Sport club development
- Community sport events
- Sport access
- Facility development and capital equipment
The maximum amounts available are:
- Sport Club Development - $2,000
- Community Sport Events - $5,000
- Sport Access - $5,000
