The last stage of the Tweed Heads Mens Shed has finally been completed. Nationals Member for Tweed, Geoff Provest, visited the shed to inspect the finished building and was very impressed with what he saw.
“Through the Community Building Partnership funding program the Mens Shed was awarded $32,584 to complete the final stage of the Shed Project, including installing solar panels at its facility next to the PCYC in Tweed Heads” Mr Provest said.

The shed encourages participation by all in the community, and during its first two years of operation has attracted people and their supporters from all areas.
“Men's Sheds provide a way for men to meet, interact and support their local communities.”
“Many other Tweed community groups have benefitted from the wide range of skills which the Men's Shed brings under one roof, and that is why the NSW Government is 100% supportive of the Mens Shed movement.
