There's a lot going on around The Nationals and the easiest way to stay in touch is by registering your email address. We send weekly roundups of all our activity as well as special briefings for important events and policy announcements.

Are you under 30 and passionate about your community and regional issues? Want to get involved, but not sure how? Do you want to bring some positivity and passion to politics while meeting great, like-minded people and developing your campaigning skills? Does this remind you of someone you know? Then check out #Team2016, our new volunteer training program for the upcoming Federal Election.

We are looking for people who want to play an active part in 2016’s Federal Election. If you care about things like education and opportunities for rural communities, getting the balance right between mining and agriculture, or funding for regional hospitals and schools, and want to do something about it, we want to hear from you.

By joining #Team2016, you will be at the sharp end of the Election. We will train you in the latest campaigning techniques and technologies. We will pay for your travel to - and accommodation in - a key Federal seat. In return you will help us out on three or four weekends and in the run-up to the campaign as we work towards creating a strong regional team in the next Coalition government. It’s a chance for you to make a real difference to our nation’s future.

This is not only open to National Party members – anybody with passion and commitment can apply so please forward this info to anyone you know who will appreciate the opportunity! You will meet other, like-minded people, enhance your CV and have a great time while you’re doing it.

If this sounds like you – or anyone you know – please email an up-to-date CV, along with a writing sample (of no more than 300 words) explaining why you would like to make a difference to:
