Redeveloping Inverell Hospital
Planning for the eagerly-anticipated redevelopment of Inverell Hospital has begun, following a visit to the hospital last week by Parliamentary Secretary for Regional and Rural Health Sarah Mitchell and Member for Northern Tablelands Adam Marshall. Sarah was invited by Adam to inspect the hospital, meet with staff and inform the community of the timeline for the important upgrade.
With the NSW Government committing $30 million to the large-scale redevelopment, planning will be completed over the next 18 months. This includes consultation with health staff and related services, Inverell Shire Council and key community groups to ensure the hospital meets community expectations now and into the future.
