$6 million upgrade to L H Ford Bridge

A six million dollar upgrade for the LH Ford Bridge in Dubbo was revealed today by the Member for Dubbo, Troy Grant.  Mr Grant was accompanied by Mr Peter Hamilton, the Project Manager from the Roads & Maritime Services (RMS) for the announcement.

Labor talks deregulation but continues to strangle the economy with more regulation!

Labor's decision to task the Productivity Commission (PC) to review the impact of regulatory burdens across the food supply chain is like closing the door after the horse has bolted, Shadow Minister for Agriculture and Food Security, John Cobb and Shadow Parliamentary Secretary to the Leader of the Opposition, Senator Sinodinos said today.

"By far the biggest single regulatory burden on the food supply is the carbon tax introduced by this government," Mr Cobb said.

$74,310 disaster grant to Coffs Harbour City Council

Minister for Finance and Services Greg Pearce and the Member for Coffs Harbour Andrew Fraser today announced a progress payment of $74, 310 to Coffs Harbour City Council to assist in the clean up and restoration of council-owned assets damaged by storms and floods in January last year.
