More infrastructure works at Taree High School

Member for Myall Lakes Stephen Bromhead has announced that Taree High School will benefit from a project to improve accessibility to the administration area and entrance as part of the NSW Liberal & Nationals’ school infrastructure plan.

“This upgrade will greatly improve the facilities at Taree High School,” Mr Bromhead said.

“Since 2011 I have been able to secure $20,862,061to improve schools in our local area.

“These upgrades will improve how schools function and and present to their local communities. The upgrades will make schools modern, pleasant environments.”

Since 2011 the NSW Liberals & Nationals Government has committed almost $3.2 billion to school infrastructure and maintenance; including announcing 18 new and relocated schools and 44 major school upgrades.

The NSW Government has also announced funding for an additional 694 additional permanent classrooms spaces, reducing the need for demountables.

These projects will deliver over 10,084 net additional public school places for schools across the State.

“The NSW Liberals & Nationals Government is determined to provide the best learning environments possible in our schools,” Mr Bromhead said.
