Over half the adults in NSW are overweight or obese. A new campaign called Make Healthy Normal in NSW aims to help people make simple food and activity changes to tackle weight and obesity problems.
The campaign is about making healthier lifestyle decisions the ‘norm’ in NSW. Research shows that high body mass index, physical inactivity and low fruit and vegetable consumption are the largest contributors to the burden of disease on society. So, it is about choosing the salad over the fries (most of the time).
