Make The Nats your New Year’s resolution

Looking to become more active in your local Nationals branch? Have some issues you would like to raise and debate with fellow members? Well, now is the perfect time to get active in your area!

Across the State we have a range of opportunities for new and existing members.

In The Nationals we pride ourselves on ensuring that we are out and about in our electorate all year round – not just when it’s election time.

From Nimmitabel to Narrabri, grassroots members and parliamentarians alike come together to fly the flag at various shows and field days. One way to encourage participation from members – and potentially sign up a few new ones as well – is to host a stand at your local regional show.

NSW Nationals Head Office can provide you with all the materials you need to ensure that your presence is known. Some of the services we can provide you include:

  • Booking forms and payment of site;
  • Goodies to hand out such as pens, notepads, bottle openers and an array of information about The Nationals;
  • A Nationals branded marquee; and
  • Helium and balloons.

If there is a show in your local area that you think we should be attending, please contact Alana at Head Office on (02) 9299 5811, or

If you’re not up to hosting a stand, perhaps you might want to get more involved in your local branch. Whether you’d like to start a new branch or get involved in an existing one – it’s easy!

Don’t know if there is a branch in your area? Looking to kick-start a new forum for locals to voice their issues regarding policy and how it affects every day Australians? Contact Jack Mallick at Head Office on (02)9299 5811 or at to chat about everything branch related and the best avenues for you to get involved.
