Katrina welcomes NSW Government funding for regional infrastructure projects
Member for Cootamundra and Parliamentary Secretary for Southern NSW, Katrina Hodgkinson has welcomed the NSW Government’s Restart NSW funding for regional infrastructure projects to go towards clearing a backlog of projects in country towns affected by ongoing water quality and sewerage problems.
“This Restart funding initiative is part of the $1.25 billion NSW Government Water Security for Regions program,” Katrina said.
The projects that are eligible to apply for Restart NSW funding are those previously remaining in the Country Towns Water Supply and Sewerage Scheme, priorities 4 to 10.
Katrina said that the following projects are eligible to apply:

“Councils have been invited to submit an application, including an updated scope, cost estimate and information about the projects,” Katrina said.
“I am proud to be part of a government that is investing heavily in regional NSW, and placing a great emphasis on water quality and fixing sewerage problems in country towns.”
