Jeremy Scott
Jeremy’s love-affair with regional NSW began after leaving Sydney to study journalism at Charles Sturt University in Bathurst in 2001. Following graduation, he began his career working in media in Sydney and the USA before being drawn to live and work in Dubbo.
Jeremy’s involvement with the Young Nationals began shortly after he joined the staff of the Member for Parkes, Mark Coulton, in 2008.
He has served on the Young Nationals State and Federal executive since 2009. He is currently working as an Adviser to the Minister for Mental Health, Healthy Lifestyles and Western NSW, The Hon. Kevin Humphries MP.
As someone who has made the move from the city to the bush, Jeremy is passionate about promoting the opportunities and joys of life in regional NSW. He also has a strong interest in encouraging regional youth to become more active in the political process and vocal on the issues that matter to them.
