Over the weekend the NSW Nationals officially endorsed Fiona Nash and Wes Fang for our Senate ticket at the upcoming Federal Election.

This year, Fiona celebrated 10 years of service in Parliament, having been elected to the Senate twice.

Fiona is currently the Minister for Rural Health and has been heavily involved in tackling the ice epidemic across regional Australia, as well having a hand in securing the recent changes to Youth Allowance. Fiona will be the first candidate on the Coalition ticket for The Nationals.

Wes is our second candidate for the joint ticket with the Liberal Party. Wes had a very successful Saturday, celebrating his son Atticus' fourth birthday in addition to securing a spot on the Nats Senate ticket. Wes and his family live in Wagga where Wes runs a successful consultancy company. Wes is a helicopter pilot by trade, and was an officer in the Australian Army before flying for Telstra Child Flight.
