Federal Women's Council heading to the Gold Coast

Looking to have a say in your community’s future? Want to tackle tough issues and influence Nationals’ policy? Fancy meeting like-minded women from across the country?

Then it sounds like you should be attending the Nationals’ Federal Women’s Council next month.

The Federal Women’s Council of The Nationals in conjunction with the Queensland LNP Women are holding their half-yearly meeting at Mantra Legends Hotel, Surfers Paradise from Friday 12th May to Sunday 14th May 2017.

The event is a fantastic opportunity for regional and rural women to come together and discuss the issues they would like to see set on the political agenda.

The weekend will kick off with the traditional Welcome Drinks on Friday evening with the conference being held over Saturday and Sunday.

Saturday night’s Gala Dinner will be the social highlight of the weekend featuring a mystery guest as the evening’s keynote speaker and a Mother’s Day Luncheon on Sunday to conclude the weekend’s formalities.

The event is open to all Nationals women and observers are encouraged. Men are also welcome to attend the Gala Dinner and Mother’s Day Luncheon. Members may attend the entire weekend or select activities subject to their availability.

For those with young children, child minding facilities are also available at the venue on request.
