While we all wish we could wash away the imminent threat and reality of drought, we’re yet to find a suitable solution. Luckily there is a new and innovative online tool at our grasp that is going to better prepare farmers for the tougher times. It’s called DroughtHub and you can access it anywhere, anytime.
Before, the only tools available for producers suffering dry conditions were in the form of Government handouts. But with the launch of DroughtHub, an online resource for primary producers, our Nationals in Government are putting the power back into the hands of those most affected.
As part of the $300 million NSW Drought Strategy, DroughtHub provides an online support service that is both easy to navigate and makes the vast range of services and support available much more accessible to primary producers. Whether you need help with finances, grants, loans, upgrades to infrastructure, skills or training, or transport for animal welfare, DroughtHub enables farmers to gather all the information they need to make informed and educated decisions when it comes to preparing for drought.
DroughtHub provides information on all services available from both the state and federal government.
