Coffs Harbour Service NSW One Stop Shop to open

Member for Coffs Harbour, Andrew Fraser, today announced that the city’s Service NSW one-stop shop service centre would be open for business from Friday 22 May, delivering on the NSW Government’s commitment to improve services to the residents and businesses of the mid North Coast.

The Service NSW centre is at the site of the old motor registry at 32-34 Gordon Street and will be open from 8.30am–5.30pm weekdays and 08.30am–midday on Saturdays.

“The service centre will enable customers to do all their government transaction business under one-roof,” Mr Fraser said.

“It offers customers access to more than 800 NSW government transactions including driver licences, vehicle registrations, Seniors Card applications, owner builder permits, housing payments and more.”

Mr Fraser said the centre would be a game-changer in terms of how transactions with government are done.

“This service centre will bring a whole new level of convenience and efficiency for local customers doing business with the NSW Government,” he said.

“The days of local people having to visit many locations to transact with the NSW Government are over.

“The feedback from other regions where service centres are operating is overwhelmingly positive and it’s pleasing that Coffs Harbor is next to be part of the Service NSW success story.”

In addition to longer opening hours and shorter waiting times, Service NSW is looking to make life even more convenient for customers.  This includes creating more transactions online and other initiatives such as 24/7 phone service, LiveChat and more self-serve kiosks.

Another offering is access to online and app real-time waiting data so customers can plan visits at the most convenient times.

Service NSW has served close to 15 million customers since it launched in 2013, through its service centres, digital service at and 24/7 phone service on 13 77 88.
