Chris Gulaptis Takes on North Coast
Member for Clarence Chris Gulaptis has been promoted to the position of Parliamentary Secretary for the North Coast.
Mr Gulaptis has been the Member for Clarence since 2011.
Mr Gulaptis said he was humbled to be given the opportunity to further represent the communities of the North Coast.
“I have been entrusted with an exciting position and I’m ready to embrace this new challenge head on,” Mr Gulaptis said.
“I am passionate about regional NSW, particularly the North of our great State and I’m proud to represent them as their dedicated Parliamentary Secretary to ensure the region continues to thrive.
“I have long been committed to ensuring those in regional and rural communities have a strong voice in government and I look forward to continuing to advocate for the people of NSW in my new role.”
NSW Deputy Premier Troy Grant said Mr Gulaptis is dedicated to regional NSW and his appointment is testament to his record of advocacy and delivery.
“Chris is an outstanding advocate and a highly respected team member of the NSW Nationals and will bring his can-do attitude to the forefront of decision making,” Mr Grant said.
“Chris has the passion and drive to help transform our state and has a track record of delivering for his local community including the second Grafton Bridge and upgrades to Grafton Hospital.”
