Lismore’s Brendan Seed was awarded Young National of the year at the youth wing’s Annual Conference in Corowa. Brendan has been a huge asset up north over the past year. He’s volunteered for every O-Week Market Day, Show and Field Day that the Nats have attended in his neck of the woods. He also assisted with the Victorian State Election, travelling further than any NSW Young Nat to contribute.
Brendan is often the first person to put up his hand when it comes to assisting The Nationals, and was an invaluable asset during the recent NSW State Election, volunteering not just in his electorate of Lismore but in the electorate of Ballina as well. Whether it was waving a poster on the road side during the morning peak traffic or doorknocking on behalf of our candidates, Brendan was the first to put his hand up to volunteer.
He has shown great initiative in growing the Young Nats; he’s always developing new ideas to engage others and is a constant champion for progressing the Young Nats’ agenda. He has also in his time as Young Nats Far North Coast Regional Coordinator signed up more members in his region than any other coordinator. Brendan now takes up the role of Membership Officer on the Young Nats Executive.
