Bathurst Branch wine and dine
On October 31, the Bathurst Branch hosted its October meeting and dinner, with local Members Paul Toole and Andrew Gee joining special guest Ben Franklin MLC at the Bathurst RSL Club for a well-supported evening - with over 40 members and guests in attendance.
Branch Chairman Sam Farraway conducted a General Meeting, which was followed by dinner and a topical discussion with Ben on state matters, followed by a general Q & A session with Paul and Andrew.
These types of meetings are generally well attended, and provide a social environment that makes it enjoyable for new and long-term members alike. Frequent meetings, at different venues and at various locations around an electorate (for Electorate Councils) get members and supporters involved, and help create the team atmosphere that keeps our Party strong.
A revised Officebearer’s handbook will be released by Head Office soon that will outline different ways to hold meetings but if you need any advice or assistance in preparing a meeting in the meantime please don’t hesitate to contact Head Office on 02 9299 5811.
