All aboard: Elvis Express tickets released Monday
With less than a week to go before the release of tickets on the 2017 NSW TrainLink Elvis Express, fans of the service are being urged to call the booking line as soon as it opens at 9:30am on Monday 19 September to avoid missing out.
Parliamentary Secretary for Western NSW Sarah Mitchell said the Elvis Express is an annual 350 kilometre pilgrimage for hundreds of Elvis fans travelling from Sydney’s Central Station to the Parkes Elvis Festival in Central Western NSW.
“The Elvis Express sold out in 20 minutes last year, so it’s imperative that fans of this hugely popular service take no chances on Monday by calling the booking line at 9:30am sharp,” Ms Mitchell said.
“It’s the fifteenth anniversary of the Elvis Express next year and will no doubt be the biggest festival to date so I urge customers to get in early and not to miss out.”
NSW TrainLink CEO Rob Mason said the Elvis Express supports one of the largest Elvis Presley tribute events in the world.
“We cannot wait to celebrate this important milestone with the fans, impersonators and tribute artists paying homage to the music and legend of Elvis Presley,” Mr. Mason said.
