A new spring in Trangie’s step

A long dormant branch of the National Party has been revived, thanks to the dedication and passion of its local members.

After many years off the radar the Trangie Branch in our state’s Central West has sprung back to life following a meeting hosted by Leader Troy Grant.

Attended by more than 20 local members, the gathering easily and eagerly filled the Office Bearer positions up for grabs. Congratulations to the newly elected officials, who will be responsible for coordinating the branch’s revival:

Chairman - Craig Davies

Vice Chairmen - Jessie Quigley and Allan Kinsey

Secretary- Rob McCutcheon

Treasurer - Tony Quigley

Membership officer - Dave Dugan

Dubbo electorate Council Chairman Peter Bartley, who also attended, commented on the energy and passion within the local community. Eight new members were signed up at the meeting, a promising start for the branch.

“Day to day issues can now be brought to the State and Federal Members’ attention very effectively and big policy issues from the whole community can now go to State Conference next year which is being held at Broken Hill,” Peter said.
